Āvāz-e Iranshahr is an initiative aimed at collecting a repertoire of solo performances by Iranian musicians worldwide, with the goal of preserving, maintaining, and identifying various styles and schools of Iranian music. Supported by Herb Alpert School of Music Iranian Music, and The Iranshahr Orchestra, this project archives each approximately 15-minute program (8-minute piece, accompanied by a 7-minute analysis by Dr. Shahab Paranj). The recording along with my analysis will be broadcast on Radio 94.7 KTWV HD3 every month. These solo performances are also presented and distributed annually under the title " Āvāz-e Iranshahr," with the UCLA publication.
The creation of this collection serves several objectives:

Showcasing talented young musicians, giving them a stage beside established and celebrated musicians.

Exposing and educating Iranians who tune in to this radio station worldwide about the content and significance of these compositions/performances.

Encouraging the musicians to value of making and performing music this way which has more connections to the essence of Iranian music.

Achieving a rich repertory, akin to a treasury, such as the collection of Golha Music (847 hours of music recorded and broadcasted in Iran before the 1979 revolution), from which future generations will benefit.
آواز ایرانشهر
آواز ایرانشهر پروژه‌ای است با هدف گردآوری مجموعه‌ای از تکنوازی‌های نوازندگان ایرانی در سراسر جهان، به‌منظور حفظ، نگهداری و
معرفی شیوه‌ها و مکاتب گوناگون موسیقی ایرانی۔
این پروژه با حمایت دانشگاه کالیفرنیا، لس انجلس و ارکستر ایرانشهر انجام می‌شود و هر ساله تکنوازی‌ها در قالب مجموعه‌ای با نام آواز ایرانشهر توسط دانشگاه
و ارکستر ایرانشهر منتشر و توزیع خواهد شد۔
تلاش برای شکل‌گیری این مجموعه اهداف گوناگونی را دنبال می‌کند، از جمله
معرفی و شناساندن نوازندگان جوان، توانا و ناشناخته‌ای که فرصت ارائه آثار خود را نداشته‌اند؛
آشنایی بیشتر ایرانیان با ارزش‌ها و محتوای این هنر ناب ایرانی؛
تشویق و ارج نهادن به شیوه‌ای از موسیقی که پیوندی عمیق با ذات و جوهر موسیقی ایرانی دارد۔
با توجه به گسترش شبکه‌های اجتماعی و خطر تأثیر گرفتن از موسیقی سطحی و مصرفی، این حرکت می‌تواند مانع فاصله گرفتن آثار این موسیقیدانان از مسیر اصیل خود شود۔
در نهایت، هدف دستیابی به گنجینه‌ای پربار همچون مجموعه‌ی «گل‌ها» است؛ گنجینه‌ای که نسل‌های آینده نیز از آن بهره‌مند خواهند شد۔
